Royal Doulton Coaching Days Pursued E3804 Dinner Plate. Classic “Coaching Days”, designed by Victor Venner and produced by Royal Doulton England, Bone China from 1905 to 1955. The scene on this 10 1/8 dinner plate is of the coach being pursued by highwaymen. In the background is a beautiful autumn birch tree, the foreground is a warm golden yellow. There is a dark olive green line on the edge. There is a hand written pattern number on the back of this plate – “E3804C”. The number “12” to the right of the crown on the green Royal Doulton mark dates this plate to 1939. Also, impressed on the back of the plate are the numbers “47 -39″. This plate is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. Ere may be a few minor very tiny flakes on the green line at the edge.
