Offered is this elegant set of TWELVE chargers or dinner plates made in Selb, Bavaria, by Heinrich. The smooth blank features a wide gold rim with flowers and flourishes in the design. The center of each plate is decorated with a cluster of multicolored blossoms, in the tradition of Dresden Flowers. The center bouquet includes roses, peonies, forget-me-nots and daisies with green foliage. The flowers are framed by a thin gold band. Between the flowers and the wide gold band is circle of pastel butter-yellow glaze. These plates measure 11 inches in diameter (28 cm). They could serve as charger plates or buffet dinner plates. The plates are in very good used condition, except for one plate that has a rim chip, which we have pictured. This chip could easily be smoothed and gilded, but we prefer to sell the plates as found. Otherwise no chips, cracks or scratches. Gold trim in very good condition. The item will be insured.
