Antique Set of 6. Dinner Plates w/ Gold Encrusted Rims 1920s-1930s. And a pair of gold excrusted salt & pepper shakes. Approximate measurements: 10 5/8 of dinner plates. Set of 6 Gold Encrusted Dinner plates with a floral center. These plates set a lovely table. And a pair of gold encrusted salt and pepper shakers. Gold encrusted rim, and another gold encrusted band around floral center on a white plate. I’m also listing another 6 dinner plates that are the same except the center floral is different than these 6 plates. Pieces used in this set. Together the 12 plates would make a lovely set. On back plates are marked in green Royal Bavarian over a crown over an oval with a lion and China in the center. Below theoval is Hutschenreuther Selb Bavaria then in blue Favorite. Below that in gold is a shield that has either GE Roy or it is LE Roy, I’m having trouble making it out. Plates have NO repairs, chips, cracks, or crazing. Plates are in Excellent used condition. They do not appear to be 80-100 years of age. They are better than you would expect. Salt and pepper shakers no longer have corks. Corks need to be replaced. If you like gold I have gold encrusted glasses from the 1920s. I have other gold encrusted dishes listed from a friend’s grandmother who received them in 1900 for a wedding present.
