Has a celeste blue border with gold beads and raised gold roses and floral scrollwork. With three white cartouches in the border with hand painted flowers in pink, blue, purple, white, yellow, and orange framed by raised gold scrollwork. Has a gilt ormolu rim. Signed by the artist Daly. Marked on the reverse with a green underglaze Limoges France mark that is obscured by a gold crown. Also marked with a pseudo / spurious blue double L mark. Probably decorated in Paris. Has some wear to the gilding and wear and tarnish to the gilt ormolu rim, but otherwise good condition. Measures approximately 9 1/2 inches wide. Nicely decorated with a blonde girl in a pink and green Colonial / Georgian gown with flowers in her hair and a small blue bird in her left hand. She is framed by a band of cobalt blue with gold gilt medallion and scrollwork overlay, a band of green with gold gilt and red diamond and floral designs, and cobalt blue with gold gilt scrollwork along the edge. With three panels around the scene with green, red, yellow and gilt floral scrollwork designs. Unmarked, but probably made in Japan during the Nippon era, circa 1891 to 1921. Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks. Measures approximately 9 5/8 inches wide. Dresden Hand Painted 18th Century Lady Green Raised Beaded Gold Portrait Plate B. Beautiful porcelain cabinet plate. Decorated with a hand painted portrait of an 18th century lady. Has a band of gold gilding with a thin band of gold beading along the inner rim of the plate. The border is green with raised gold scrollwork, gold lines, gold net/lattice designs with beading, and gold flowers. Gold gilding along the edge. This plate is unmarked; however, it has the same border as other plates I have listed separately that are Dresden. Probably 1890 to 1915. Has a few small spots of wear to the background of the portrait and some minor wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks. Measures approximately 9 1/2 inches wide.
