Superior Bavaria 22k GOLD ENCRUSTED Dinner Plates. Offering a stunning set of ten (10) gold encrusted dinner plates by Superior Bavaria. Plates have a thick 3 ½ gold encrusted rim with a smooth white center. Back is stamped SUPERIOR CHINA WARRANTED 22 CARAT GOLD. Plates measure 10 5/8 in diameter. Plates are in very good vintage condition free of chips, cracks or repairs. Please note there is minor scratching on the porcelain. Four of the plates appear to show slight wear down through the gold exposing the porcelain, (last four plates shown), and most of the other plates have some small tarnished spots here and there that sometimes appear to be gold loss, however when held at an angle, the surface is still shiny from the gold, (shown in the partial plate photos) commensurate with age and use and can be expected with plates previously owned. Overall, the wear is not a distraction to this gorgeous vintage set and would look stunning as a dinner plate or charger! A wonderful set that can be used to accent any china!
