Description – Early Royal Doulton cabinet plate with a hand painted scene of sheep grazing in a pasture in the foreground and a mountain view in the background. It is artist signed by C. B Hopkins (Charles Beresford Hopkins). The border is decorated with heavy raised gold designs. It has the Royal Doulton factory mark on the reverse, as shown. Age – Circa 1895 – 1922. 10 + 3/8 inches in diameter. Condition – Age appropriate, it has a very short line coming of the rim and then another fine line below it, see photos for complete assessment.
