Copeland Spode Hand Painted Signed CE Proctor Cobalt Gold Castle 9 1/4 Plate A Beautiful porcelain dinner sized cabinet plate. Decorated with a hand painted scene of a castle, trees, mountains, and a large body of water. With rocks on the opposite side of the water from the castle. With a deep cobalt blue border with gold gilt floral scrollwork designs and gold gilding along the edge. Signed by the artist CE Proctor. Marked on the reverse Spode Copeland’s China England in green. With an impressed date code for 1911. Has some stacking wear to the center and some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks. Measures approximately 9 1/4 inches wide.
