Coalport England 7 Dinner Plates -Hand Painted Roses, Heavy Gold -Ovington Bros. This is a set of 7 Dinner plates made by Coalport in England. Each is in the pattern #Z6566 and measure 10 across. The design was a transferware pattern outline in brown which was then hand painted with pink roses and green leaves. You can see the brush strokes. The border is a heavy embossed gold at the rim in swirls with the embellishments raised to the touch. The plates are beautiful! I have 2 more matching plates – each has a stress crack 1/4 way around the plate at the shoulder that does not extend into the base yet. They are intact and look great. You wouldn’t even know the crack was there if you didn’t really look hard for it. They would look great in a cabinet but I wouldn’t use them. Set is in Excellent Condition with no chips, nicks or cracks. They look barely used, if at all. Please view the photos for a better description. I have other neat things listed.
