THIS IS FOR 4 PLATES: I have a total of 12 of these very elegant Aynsley bone china 10 1/2 dinner plates in the elegant Leighton pattern : a deep cobalt blue rim with an articulate 24kt gold gilding. Condition is Excellent, with no chips, crack, staining or gouging knife marks. Looks like these were seldom used. Cobalt reflects as Black in some photos but it is definitely cobalt in life. Please see all photos. These are translucent: you really can see your hand’s shadow through them. This is a property of good porcelain/bone china. Aynsley was one of the first potteries in England to specialize in Bone China creating a very strong china that is thinner and lighter than others.
