Maker : This set of 11 beautiful and classically elegant dinner plates has the first known decorator’s mark of. Délinières & Co, or D & Co. The classic Limoges firm that became L. Bernardaud, producer of exceptional quality porcelain since 1863 and a major player in Limoges today. Age : On the reverse of each plate is the red D & Co mark number 4 that was in use between 1881 and 1893. Design : The pattern features an elegant band of gold scrollwork on pure white porcelain and a distinctive and finely detailed medallion. The company produced many patterns with this medallion at the center. Condition : There is significant wear to the gold edge on all 11 plates – it’s visible in the photos. They are otherwise in excellent condition for their age with no marks, nicks, chips, cracks, crazing, stains, discoloration, utensil marks, repairs or wear to the main design.
