Up for your consideration is a gorgeous set of 12 Wedgwood service plates, measuring 10.75 in diameter. They are vintage/antique, and retailed by Gorham (Black, Starr, & Frost), as stamped on the underside. They feature a unique green mottled border, with an inner and outer gilded rim. They have hand-painted numbers on the underside w. 1249, but this does not correspond to any pattern on Replacements. Overall, the plates are in excellent condition, free of chips, cracks, or utensil marks. There is some wear from stacking. One plate shows loss to the green border (as shown in the last photo), and another has a very small scratch that is relatively hard to detect (see second to last photo).
