SET OF 9 HUTSCHENREUTHER ROYAL BAVARIAN 22KT GOLD ENCRUSTED BLUE DINNER PLATES. Set of 9 ANTIQUE Hutschenreuther Dinner Plates. Blue with 22kt Gold encrusted edge — ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! Has design of a windmill, sailboat and more along the outer rim. Measures approximately 10-5/8 in diameter. Royal Bavarian with Lion and CHINA in the circle. There are some utensil marks on the plates (including through the gold in the middle). Some of the gold scrolling in the blue section is worn on some of the plates. There are some white areas in the middle cream section of many of the plates. It feels like the glaze and paint came off, but not really sure?? This sounds like alot of issues, but they are still AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL plates!! Stamped on the back. As always please wash as there are some dirty spots on the plates. Good used will have utensil marks and show some wear. Good lightly used has utensil marks, very light wear. Good very lightly used might have a few utensil marks, very light wear. Almost new, means I see no real signs of wear of any kind but won’t sell as new. New means I know they are NEW. I’m sorry but FLAT RATE boxes can not be combined. I have been packing breakables and dishes for years! I use fresh bubble wrap and packing peanuts, and as I pack thousands of dishes each year, I do it very well. However I use the postal service and at times they do not understand the word “FRAGILE”, or they have seasonal workers. This is why I insure all boxes. If your order does have any damage, you are required to keep the box, all packing materials and the damaged item for any claim. May you always know that God loves You!

This set of 11 Hutschenreuther Selb Bavaria dinner plates is a stunning example of early 20th century art deco design. Made in Germany between 1925 and 1939, these porcelain Ivory bone china plates feature a Greek key decorative edge and flower pattern in gold and black with gold edge encrusted details. Each plate measures 10 5/8″ in diameter and 1″ in height, making them a perfect cabinet plate or for special occasions. These antique plates are in excellent condition, with no signs of wear or damage. NONE of them have utensil scratch marks at all so I believe they were just kept in a cabinet and not used. They are hand-painted and have a glossy finish, some have what appears to be a gold dot of paint on them. And are underneath the gloss. I have included a close up picture of one that has several of these paint spots on them. I have taken a picture of each plate, so you can see that ALL of them are in SUPERB CONDITION! All but one has the Hutschenreuther Selb lion mark on it and they all have handwritten in gold: 1924 77. I’m not sure if the 1924 is supposed to represent the year they were made and the 77 represents the pattern number? I wasn’t able to find specific information about that. They each weigh one pound 4 ounces, and will be carefully packaged to insure safe arrival. They would make a perfect addition to any collection, cabinet display or holiday entertaining table setting. A superb example of high quality German porcelain at its finest! The values of these vintage plates just continues to increase. Don’t let these EXTRA LARGE – almost 11 Diameter – Dinner Plates pass you by!
