The plate has a 1 7/8 wide encrusted gold, embossed design, band that goes around the entire plate. The center is white as is the back of the plate. The bottom of the plate is stamped with the marking “ROYAL BAVARIAN CHINA HUTSCHENREUTHER SELB BAVARIA” with the crown above the lion logo. The plate is initialed by the artist. This heavy gold encrusted dinner plate is in excellent condition with no chips, no cracks and no damage or repairs. All the gold is intact. It is an amazing piece.
