Copeland Hand Painted Signed T Sadler Pink Roses Green & Gold Beaded Plate Nice antique bone china plate. Decorated with large hand painted pink, d ark pink, and yellow roses in the center over a gold background with gold beading, and a dark green band with gold floral and beaded petal designs. Has a wide gold band along the border with large hand painted pink roses and gold beading, with a smaller band of dark green above with small gold dots, and gold gilding along the edge. Signed by the artist T Sadler on one of the pink roses in the center. Marked on the reverse Copeland’s China England. This mark was used starting in 1891. Also has an impressed date code for 1905. As well as a retailer/importer mark for Davis Collamore & Co Ltd Fifth Ave & 37th St New York in gold. Has some minor wear to the gilding and a few minor spots of wear to the green ground, and some gilded over in manufacture stacking flakes to the foot rim, but otherwise good condition. Measures approximately 9 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
