Set 8 Antique GDA Limoges Red Double Gilt Gold Encrusted Dinner Plates c 1900. This set of eight antique GDA Limoges dinner plates is a stunning addition to any collection. The plates feature a beautiful double red and gilt encrusted gold bands, with intricate gold laurel design that adds a touch of elegance to any table setting. Crafted from high-quality porcelain, these plates are both durable and beautiful. Each plate in the set measures 10.5 inches in diameter and bears a printed backstamp indicating its origin in France and made by the well known Gerard, Dufraisseix and Abbot firm that operated in Limoges, France as early as 1900. Condition is quite good for an early set. One plate has a flat flake on underside of rim. There is gilt loss on the rims but from top the plates all display well! They are a gorgeous set.
