Vintage Set 13 CENTURY BY SALEM Dinner Plates 23 Karat Gold Filigree Trim China. FLORAL POPPY Bouquet in center, cream colored center. THIS IS THE RAREST VERSION OF THE ARISTOCRAT BLUE SERIES – The version of these plates with a Rose Bouquet center is quite common. These are the POPPY BOUQUET center plates, which are all but impossible to find. The gold border is an extremely different design, and much more pretty- of filigree swirls in an Art Nouveau style. Only made in 1941. See all pics and use zoom. No fading or dullness to colors or glossy finish. Very charming, it would look wonderful on display in a china cabinet or on a table and is extremely usable. Plate Size Approx 10Across with a nice shallow bowl effect at edges.
