Fine Antiques & Collectibles. Royal Worcester Full Gold Damask Plate. A fine mid 20th century Royal Worcester plate with the full gold damask border. The central vignette is painted with flowers in the 18th century style by John Freeman, and the panel is signed. These luxurious gold decorated plates were only produced for a relatively short period, probably due to the huge cost. They can be found painted with fruit and flowers and on occasion a different subject. The plate has the gold Worcester mark and foot rim to the reverse. A lovely cabinet plate for the collector and increasingly rare and sought after. Slight wear only, a fine example. Height: 27.3 cm (10 3/4 inch). Width: 27.3 cm (10 3/4 inch). Weight: 664 grams (before packing). Stock Code: 0656 JL17-1. If for any reason you are unhappy with your item please let us know as soon as possible, and we will do our best to put things right.
