Sevres Style Lady & Cherub Floral Raised Gold Celeste Blue & Gilt Ormolu Plate. Nice antique French porcelain plate. Decorated with a hand painted scene of a lady on a swing and and cherub. Has a celeste blue border with gold beads and raised gold roses and floral scrollwork. With three white cartouches in the border with hand painted flowers in pink, blue, purple, white, yellow, and orange framed by raised gold scrollwork. Has a gilt ormolu rim. Signed by the artist Daly. Marked on the reverse with a green underglaze Limoges France mark that is obscured by a gold crown. Also marked with a pseudo / spurious blue double L mark. Probably decorated in Paris. Has some wear to the gilding and wear and tarnish to the gilt ormolu rim, but otherwise good condition. Measures approximately 9 1/2 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
