Darte Old Paris Hand Painted Floral Butterflies Cream & Gold 9 1/8 Inch Plate F. Antique 19th century Old Paris / Vieux Paris porcelain plate. Decorated with a small hand painted floral bouquet in the center with white, yellow, pink, blue, orange and purple flowers. Has a wide cream border with hand painted butterflies in purple, orange, and yellow framed in gold scrollwork with gold acanthus leaves. Gold gilding along the edge. Marked on the reverse Rue De Vinaigriers Darte Fils aine a Paris in red. Has some wear to the gilding and a long tight crack through the center. Measures approximately 9 1/8 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
