Old Paris Sevres Style Hand Painted Napoleonic Battle Cobalt Gold & Floral Plate Fabulous Old Paris porcelain plate in the Sevres style with relief molded scrollwork along the edge. Nicely decorated with a hand painted Napoleonic battle scene in the center framed by chain linked pattern. With a deep cobalt blue border with gold gilt scrolls. With panels with hand painted pink, yellow, purple, and blue flowers framed in gold gilt scrollwork and floral designs. With a gold gilt crown over a monogrammed M. Circa 1800 to 1850. Possibly made by Schoelcher. Has some wear to the gilding and along the inner rim of the plate, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks. Measures 9 5/8 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display-ability of the piece.
