The plates made by Cowell & Hubbard of Cleveland. White is the background of the plate and they each have fancy borders of gold. The gold bands on the plates are very detailed with beautiful designs within the gold. The plates have NO chips, cracks, crazing or restoration. On a couple plates there are small areas on the gold which show slight wear. These plates are 9 1/4 across. They would look better with a chefs fancy meal on the plate.
