Rockingham Ranunculus Flower Blue & Gold Rococo Scrollwork 9 3/8 Inch Plate Nice antique bone china plate with Rococo scrolled leaf molding with gold highlights. Blue border with gold scrollwork and gold bands. Hand painted grey ranunculus flowers in the center. Marked on the reverse with a puce griffn above Rockingham Works Brameld Manufacturers to the King. This mark was used between 1830 and 1837. Has crazing typical of bone china, some wear consistent with age and use, a few spots of discoloration to the blue border, two stacking flakes to the foot rim and a small discolored curved tight crack below the mark. The crack is visible between the leaves on the front and has some minor associated enamel loss. Measures approximately 9 3/8 inches wide.
