KPM Berlin Hand Painted Queen Louise Statue Rust Roses & Gold Reticulated Plate Late 19th or early 20th century reticulated dinner plate. Decorated with a hand painted rust colored scene of Victorian or Edwardian people viewing the statue of Queen Louise of Prussia. With rust colored rose garlands with gold gilt leaves, gold and rust highlights to the relief molded floral scrollwork designs, and gold gilding to the reticulation. Marked on the reverse with the blue underglaze KPM Berlin scepter mark and the overglaze red KPM under a globe mark. Has some very minor wear, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks. Measures approximately 9 3/4 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
