ROYAL WINTON GRIMWADES SUMMERTIME CHINTZ DINNER PLATE S GOLD VINTAGE 9 3/4. These are 4 gorgeous vintage Chintz dinner plates! The larger plates are more difficult to find and these are beautiful! It is in in the very popular’Summertime’ pattern and measures 9 3/4″ square (which is referred to as a 10″ plate) and in Grimwades (Royal Winton) Ascot shape. Plates are in excellent condition, no chips, or cracks. Gold trim in excellent condition. Plates have very very minor utensil marks if any. The pattern is crisp and bright and has a very rich look to it, which you see in the older pieces that are in such good shape. There is the typical crazing on the back as you see in the older Royal Winton pieces. It has the older Grimwades mark. Backstamps can vary from plate to plate. Don’t pass these up!
