Antique Haviland Limoges White and Gold Lady’s Oyster Plate. I found this at an estate sale. I have looked it over and I can not find any cracks or chips ect. However, I could have missed something so please look over the pictures carefully and judge condition for yourself. Please message me if you have any questions or would like additional photos. Some Info I Found on the internet. The plate is called a lady’s oyster plate because it would only serve 4 oysters and since oysters were known to have aphrodisiac properties women were not allowed to over indulge.
