These are in antique condition and do have some scratches in the dishes and in the gold trim. 11 8 1/2 Dinner Plates (2 with small chips in the rim). 12 7 1/2 Salad/Dessert Plates (2 with chips, one in top rim and one underneath at the rim). 5 3 3/8 Berry Bowls. 9 5 1/8 Berry Bowl Under-plates (2 with small chips in the rim). 7 3 1/4 Teacups (1 with 2 chips in the rim, 1 with a small chip at base of handle). 11 5 3/8 Saucers. 11 2 Finger Bowls (1 with chip in the rim).

Rare Armorial Porcelain Dinner Plate for the William Deering – Howe Estate – Circa 1930s. Rare Armorial Porcelain Dinner Plate for the William Deering – Howe estate. The plate was commissioned for the wife of William Deering Howe was The President of Transair Inc – he tragically died in Cuba of a heart attack in Havana Cuba. He lived in New York with his wife at 250 Park Avenue. William Deering Howe the son of William Deering. William Deering (April 25, 1826 – December 9, 1913) was an American businessman and philanthropist. He inherited a woollen mill in Maine, but made his fortune in later life with the Deering Harvester Company. This plate is a sample bespoke commission piece by Thomas Goode & Wedgwood as a potential design for a much larger set. Thomas Goode would have produced a number of designs from which Mrs Deering Howe could select here preferred choice for the larger set. The plate still carries the gold Thomas Goode sticker (easily removed should you wish) and is not permanently attached. Good overall condition, no cracks chips or repairs. Some rubbing to gilding and couple of scuff to paint work on the outer edge. Approx Size: 28cm wide. Thomas Goode would have produced a number of designs from which Mrs Deering Howe could select here preferred choice for the larger. Lenox CAC WILLIAM MORLEY Hand Painted Flowers & Raised Gold Porcelain Plate
Offered for sale is this beautiful antique Lenox CAC porcelain plate, hand painted with flowers by William Morley, and with an intricate raised gold border. The plate dates from between 1896 and 1906. Please excuse the reflections in the pictures. The plate is just over 10.25 inches diameter. It is in excellent condition. There are no chips, no cracks, no fleabites. There is little to no wear to the gold. There are a few tiny scratches to the painting. Please see the close up pictures.
